How To Install A Wireless Wall Switch To Pair With Our Drapes
What do I need to know?
Different kinds of wall switches will need to be used, depending on the motor specified for your drapes.
Battery Motors
When installing a wireless wall switch for a battery operated drape, we need a wall cut out on the wall. The below illustrations show you what you’ll need to have ready before our crew comes onsite. We’ve also put this information in a handy card you can download and give to your GC or Construction Manager!
Remember, the rules vary when we talk about Motorized Roller Shades. If you want to know about wireless switches for shades, check out that resource on our post called,
“Roller Shades: Installing a Wireless Wall Switch”.

Plug and Play Motors
Plug and play motors use a different kind of switch that mounts on the wall surface and does not require a cut out on the sheet rock or any prep from the GM or Construction Manager.
