Flexpins

There are different options to choose from when it comes to drapery hardware components. For example, some window treatment manufacturers use metal hooks for their French pleated drapes. At Quiltcraft, we have invested in new technology that uses synthetic polymer pins, which will help save our team valuable time and give you the best quality possible. Learn some cool advantages below!

Adjustable Height

Flexpins, have an innovative design that allows the drapery to be raised or lowered 2” at the exact height needed, accounting for sloping floors or ceilings.

Washable

Unlike metal hooks, Flexpins are made out of synthetic polymer which makes them water, humidity and rust resistant. Optimal for coastal areas and drapes that require frequent cleaning.

Time and Efficiency

Our innovative machinery has the ability to sew these Flexpins into the drapery, eliminating the need for separate pinning of metal hooks into the item. The adjustable technology also saves valuable installation time allowing for immediate infield adjustments.

Strength

Historically, drapery is pinned with metal hooks, which are put through the fabric and only support where the pin penetrates the fabric. However, Flexpins are sewn into the complete spline of the pleat, supporting up to 20 lbs per pleat.
