LOCATION Nestled in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the InterContinental Hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and modern sophistication. What sets this location apart is its proximity to iconic landmarks such as the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the scenic Canal Walk, providing guests with a rich cultural experience right at their doorstep.

NEAT Quiltcraft had the privilege of collaborating with Keystone, a company renowned for its innovative transformations, along with the IHG Brand, to turn this historic building into a luxurious destination. Built in 1926, the Illinois Building, once deemed an endangered landmark, has been beautifully revitalized by Keystone, marrying elegance with sophistication to create an exceptional guest experience.

NEW A key highlight of this endeavor is the use of 350 motorized window treatments throughout the property in addition to some other manual and stationary treatments. The guestroom shades are completely motorized and the controls are integrated into the bed headboards, ensuring convenience and ease of use. The innovative "mock roman" window treatment used in the guestrooms is another highlight.

Unlike traditional designs, this unique treatment resembles a roman shade when fully raised, offering a clean and seamless look. The incorporation of battery-operated roller shades, elegant traversing drapes in prominent areas like the presidential suite and rooftop bar, plus the mock roman valances adds luxury and enhances the overall guest experience.

DIFFERENT In the public areas, the introduction of traversing drapes adds a dynamic flair, seamlessly blending with the hotel's luxurious ambiance. The battery-operated roller shades not only offer convenience but also enhance energy efficiency, allowing for precise control of natural light throughout the spaces.
