“Designed in the style of an early twentieth-century Moorish Revival lodge”. This design stands out due to its square rooftop penthouse and brick and trim features which were symbolic of the era’s architecture. Originally designed by Herbert M. Green and Roy Ellsworth Lane, the 50,000-square-foot building has been transformed into a high-end, upscale, 33-guestroom hotel with food and beverage outlets, meeting/event space and a rooftop terrace.

Brighter and lighter entry spaces and a new floor for a rooftop bar/lounge, were some of the bigger updates made to the building without changing any of the façade. The original stonework, brick, historic terrazzo flooring and exposed beams were saved where they could be. The rooms also have the original concrete floors and our drapes beautifully displayed in them. The outdoor pillows are also part of our work, so check out the gallery below and enjoy the pictures, or maybe take a trip down to Texas and come see the beauty for yourself!
