The complexity of the new Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House is fully realized not just in the design and painstaking construction of its complex, one of a kind components but also in the management of the process that brought it to fruition. The $197 million project involved a high end European design architect, 270 subcontractors and vendors as well as a dizzying array of materials from around the globe, all coming together to create what has come to be the most celebrated new opera house in the United States.
