For 84 years a railroad freight depot existed at 1033 Young Street in Downtown Dallas. $35 million, 3 years of planning, zoning and construction, an additional ninth floor and 193 guest rooms later – the property is now Starwood’s first Aloft Hotel opened in a historic building.

Aloft markets its trendy urban properties as an affordable alternative to its popular W Hotels. The first floor houses the checkin desk, a lounge, bar and food service area beneath a high ceiling. Tucked at the back of the building are an exercise room and swimming pool.
